Peter Banks, the former guitarist of Yes, surprised Yesterdays at the end of their performance when he took the microphone, and spoke very admiringly of them. You can hear this at the end of their YES-inspired song "Seven".

Yesterdays is a Hungarian symphonic progressive rock band based in Carei, Romania. Their musical style has been compared to artists including Yes, Quidam, Pat Metheny, Anna Maria Jopek, Eclipse, and Genesis.

The band plays a complex blend of several styles - the classic symphonic Prog is redefined with some jazzy, folk and atmospheric touches. Lyrics are in both English and Hungarian.
